Creative & Web Development Manager


  • Creating and maintaining each of Bicoastal Media’s radio station Web sites;
  • Work closely with the Director of Digital Services to develop new ideas and implement plans for new Web platforms;
  • Maintains updates for both the front- and back-end.
  • Responsible for higher level graphic design projects, as directed
  • Works with all Bicoastal Media locations to ensure timely, and accurate information on station Web sites.
  • Other duties as assigned


Must be familiar with the web publishing process, both technically and with a keen eye towards web design best practices. Must have the ability to think and work independently, with input and guidance from the Director of Digital Services. Good organization and problem-solving skills are mandatory. Must have knowledge of current internet trends and possess a forward-thinking mentality. Excellent verbal and written communications skills. Ability to interact with management and staff at all levels. Ability to multitask and can handle pressures and deadlines. The ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities.

Must have strong knowledge in the following areas:

  • FTP
  • Java Script
  • JQuery
  • CSS
  • PHP
  • WordPress development
  • W3C Standards
  • Adobe Photoshop
  • Adobe Illustrator
  • Adobe Dreamweaver (or similar software)


In additional to the required skills, other preferred skills/experiences include:

  • 5+ years as a website developer
  • BA/BS in computer science, design or related field
  • IT management
  • Previous work with media companies or brands


You may be required to supervise others from time-to-time in this positon.


The primary work location for this position is in the offices located in Eugene, Albany and Medford. There may be occasions when you are required to work from other assigned locations. This job requires some travel (driving between locations). This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to see, talk and hear. This position requires sitting and/or standing and working at a computer for long periods of time. Walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling and climbing are required occasionally. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Job may require lifting or moving up to 30 lbs.


This is a full-time position. Work hours are Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm. You will be required to attend outside functions and events when necessary. Additionally, there will be times you will need to respond for after-hours emergencies.
